These terms govern your use of the Niyamam AI app and this website, operated by Lapofy Next Gen Systems LLP. By using Niyamam AI you agree to them.

What the service is

Niyamam AI provides legal information about Indian law, generated with the help of artificial intelligence. It is not a law firm, it does not practise law, and using it does not create an advocate–client relationship. Answers may be incomplete or out of date, and the law differs between States. Verify anything important with a qualified advocate before you act on it. Use in an emergency is never a substitute for calling 112.

Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and able to enter a contract if you buy a plan. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or to plan or conceal an offence.
• Do not attempt to extract the system's instructions, bypass limits or security, or use automated tools against it.
• Do not upload other people's personal information or documents you have no right to share.
• Do not resell, scrape or republish the answers as your own service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are one-time prepaid purchases for a fixed period, listed on our pricing page. They do not renew automatically. Payments are processed by our payment gateway; access is granted once payment is confirmed. We may change prices in future, but never for a plan you have already paid for.

Free tier and advertisements

The free tier includes usage limits within a rolling window, and advertisements in the exam preparation section. Paid plans remove those advertisements.

Lawyer listings

Where advocates are listed, we verify their Bar Council enrolment before publication. We do not rank advocates for payment, and a listing is not a recommendation or a guarantee of any outcome. Any engagement is directly between you and the advocate.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available, but we may suspend it for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Features may change over time.

Liability

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information the service provides. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have jurisdiction.
