This policy explains what Niyamam AI (“we”, “the app”) collects, why, and what control you have. Niyamam AI is operated by Lapofy Next Gen Systems LLP.

What we collect

• Account details: your name or nickname, and the email address or mobile number you sign in with.
• Your questions and answers: the messages you send and the replies you receive, so your chat history is there when you return.
• Documents and photographs you choose to send for explanation, and voice recordings you choose to make.
• Usage information: how many messages you send, which plan you are on, and basic diagnostic and crash information.
• Payment records: the plan bought, amount, and the payment reference from our payment provider.

What we do not collect

We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV, net-banking password or any other payment credential. Those go directly to our payment provider. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use your questions to target advertising at you.

Why we use it

• To answer your legal questions and keep your chat history.
• To apply usage limits fairly and to provide the plan you paid for.
• To prevent abuse, fraud and automated misuse of the service.
• To fix faults and improve accuracy and reliability.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service: cloud hosting and databases, an artificial intelligence provider that generates answers, speech services for read-aloud and voice input, a payment gateway for purchases, and an advertising network for the free tier. They process information only to provide these functions to us. Some processing may take place outside India; where it does, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

How long we keep it

Chat history stays until you delete a conversation or your account. Payment and accounting records are kept as long as the law requires. Diagnostic data is kept for a limited period.

Your choices

• Delete any conversation from the app at any time.
• Delete your account from Account settings; this removes your profile and chat history, apart from records we must keep by law.
• Correct your name or profile details in the app.
• Turn off notifications, microphone and camera access in your device settings.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address on our contact page.

Children

Niyamam AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

Information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with access controls. Administrative access is limited and audited. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending information you do not need to share.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
